I really don't like Greenday. It's not my genre of music. But sometimes, here and there, I here their music, and it's cool. But I really wouldn't be able to compare the new and the old.

I like their old stuff. Their new stuff is alright, but it dosen't have the same spirit as the old stuff...When I saw them a few months ago they focused more on the old stuff. It was great.

I like their style in music, guitar wise.
It's fairly simple to learn to play by ear.
And, as everyone has already stated, their older songs are great, although a few of their newer stuff reflects on the same spirit their older ones did.

green day are really good, liked their old stuff, liked their new stuff, don't know which i like more. don't like the way people will have only heard the new stuff though, well annoying how they suddenly became huge at the end of 2004 (seems like ages ago when you put it like that!) just like blink.

I'm not so much a fan now but I used to love them. So many memories attached to their old stuff.

Like walking back from a mini local festive at 2 in the morning at the end of year ten down country lanes singing basketcase, then hitchhiking with sixth former my friend knew, who got done for drunk driving after dropping us off. Ha.

yeah i remeber that i was kinda one of them (dont shoot me was just getting into music at that time and hadnt heard any of there other stuff) then i did some research then bought there album then billie joe became my god, i remember discussions in my old tutor gruop saying that AI was green day's first album (i always won by telling them about 1039 smooth) gd times
