Benzyl peroxide works for me. But may not work for everyone.
I have also heard of a tablet thats supposed to be good and is available over the counter i think, but im not sure of its name.

Panoxyl (the new name for Benzyl Peroxide) is available over the counter. It comes in 3 strengths, depending on how bad your acne is. I normally go for 5%, cause it's more than just a few pimples, but not excessive acne!

It's around £3 for quite a big tube, and if you follow the instructions, it should work well!

hey, my friend has that problem, she cant seem to get rid of her acne. I brought something called Panoxyl, which is a special spot cream which you can get from your chemist. If you do not want to try creams then try this, if you use makeup wipes there supposed to clean the skin which will also get rid of your spots. Try eating more fruit and vegetables aswell. Well gd luk!

no, that is not true. it sort-of clears them up, but it actually burns them into scars. looking back i should never have tried it

Well just make sure you wash your face everyday. Since i stated cleansing, toning & moisturising my skins got heaps better.
But usually for acne you need more than just washing your face, theres plenty of creams & even tablets you can go on to get rid of them.
If your that botherd by it you could see a doctor & usually they can tell you what to do.

True, it dries them up, and sometimes if you put too much on it does dry it out too much and produce scars.

I went to the doctors for mine, and he recommended some zineryt solution to use for about 6 months. As you know, when you try anything new, you have to try it for at least 6 weeks. And he said if it doesn't make a difference to go onto tablets. So, we'll just have to see.

Although food doesn't have anything to do with spots, because it;s your hormones, you still need to eat healthily and stay fit. If you do a lot of exercise, you sweat a lot and get rid of bad things in your skin. You could also exfoliate too. Whichever works best for you.

Im alergic to any perfumed products that get rid of spots...i had a massive rash on my neck this time last year.
I think i became alergic because i used too many different kinds of spot removal cream and liquid! It just fucks up your skin!
After that i tried everything, even tooth paste! Tooth paste doesnt work....it makes your skin fel soft but just makes spots more shiny and clear!!
The best thing to do is wash your face and then splash it with good old cold water twice a day :D Make sure you dry your face properly, and every so often use a skin sensitive face mask!!
I hardly have any spots now :D even less than when i used spot cream etc.

Yeah I have tried that! You have to stick at it though! It's not a case of putting it on one day and all the spots gone by the next! But then again, nothing is like that really:) Just gotta stick to it

don't use anything you see advertised on tv, it's all crap!

i was prescribed with Oxytetracycline and PanOxyl Aquagel (it's 5%) and it seems to have cleared up much better. i've suffered for years - like from 11. i always seemed to have it pretty bad compared to most people, it's the most horroble thing to get, and when you can't get rid...grrrrr

no-one deserves spots. cept...peadophiles - yeh they should be punished with it

exfoliators can also sometimes be too strong and cause you to break out more. Thats the thing you have to be careful of. some products are too strong and hurt your skin even more.
i recommend just a gental face cleaner and warm water. keep in mind it can take a month or so because you actually start seeing results. And if its still bad maybe go to the doctor because they know best.
