Gahrrr, what's with all these self explanatory titles of mine?! I should have called this 'gloobie doo shaamee too' or something crazy like that, but then people would start posting saying I'm a retard.
My favourite movie would have to be Forrest Gump.

Hmm, I guess I'll sort mine into anime and non-anime.
My top three anime titles are definitely Princess Mononoke, End of Evangelion and Howl's Moving Castle, although I can't really choose between them, they appeal to me differently depending on my frame of mind. If it were for the art alone I would say Howl's Moving Castle, for storyline I'd say Princess Mononoke (I would say Spirited Away, but I just enjoyed it less,) and for plain "huh?" factor I'd say End of Evangelion.
For all other films, the ones I've seen recently always seem to stick out in my mind far more than those which I've seen a long while ago, but I seem to remember the Star Wars Trilogy to have been somewhat successful. The Lord of the Rings was good, but it's not something I would particularly want to rewatch for at least a few years. ;) A Beautiful Mind was good, but I probably only remember that one because I watched it on Saturday night. I really have to watch some more movies.... oh well I'm hopefully going to see the 40 year old virgin on thursday, that might make me crack a smile. >_>
And in my last category for films that have turned me on and have had a half-way decent storyline, I'm going to have to say Story of O.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
no question about that.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding is a close second.

I saw Monty Python and the Meaning of Life once. It was ok, but nothing ridiculously funny. Everyone else thinks it's amazing. Maybe I'm missing something...
Anyway, welcome to the forums John_Marshall_pwns_j00 :p. I hope you enjoy your time here.

I didn't find the Meaning of Life funny in the slightest, ended up switching the channel before it finished.

Mine would be, as sad as it is, The Original Charlie and The Chocolate Factory!

I do remember Logan's Run being very sexy... and philosophical... but most of all sexy, yes. :D

Star Wars Ep: 3. It's brilliant and funny and cool at the same time!

There's something missing in films which are part of a series to be able to define them as a favourite of mine. I would either say the whole series, or not at all. I want something to come full circle within 2 and a half hours.... oh I suppose I'll make a small exception for Lawrence of Arabia because that was excellent. ^_^
