Why do you eat?

Do you eat because you hungry? To comfort yourself or just for the taste of the food?

I usually only eat for the taste of the food but its wierd because when I am hungry I think food does not taste as nice. I like to eat as often as I can but I am usually only doing it because I like tasting things. Seems pretty wierd now I think of it, I don't let myself get hungry all too often because I eat when I need taste. Or something along those lines....

I eat sometimes because I'm bored. I like the taste of food - mainly sweet things I crave. But I love oriental food.

If I don't eat, I actually crave the feeling of hunger sometimes. My mum told me I was weird when I told her.

I eat when i can be botherd to, or when i'm hungry, but i eat sweets and chocolate all the time these days, i never used to though, when i was a kid, i used to buy fruit instead!

Shane goes in one shop buys a handful of stuff, then goes to the next one, it pretty much carries on like that through out the day!

I also eat when i'm bored.
And i actually never seem to get hungry, possibly cause i just always eat haha.

I am always hungry. I am usually starving at breakfast, and then by lunch, which at school is 10:45 I am starving again. Then I eat right when I get home, then I eat dinner, then I eat right before I go to sleep. Haha, I eat a lot, but small meals, cause that is supposed to be healthier.

I believe I am right in saying that your statement is actually wrong... I often eat a lot late at night, after eating lots in the day too and I once brought this up with my doctor and apparently the spanish tradditionally eat a lot later at night and sometimes, its better to just take in the callories you think your body needs than worry about the time your eating.

Food doesn't excite me much. I'm not often hungry I eat because I know I should, plus I am so fussy there aren't many options...I basically live off a diet of bagels, salad, diet coke and cigarettes. Very healthy.

Obviously, I eat when I'm hungry, but I also eat because I like the taste of food. :) As weird as it sounds, for me, eating is a hobby. Thankfully, my metabolism is able to keep up with it. Haha. Anyway, food tastes good, and the only way I'd be able to resist food is if there wasn't room for any more! ;)
