Oh wow :O

I love going kayaking on holiday in the sea with my dad. Arms ache days after, but it's hilarious when he steers it the wrong way and I'm shouting at him, loool.

I wonder if I can get some photos this year when we hire the kayak again =P

It reminds me of rowing slightly, but it's not as pissy when you've you to mess around with your feet, the seat, hands and everything else. Hehe. Cause I suck at rowing =P

I've been rowing.
But I doubt that counts.

Lol. I remember the 'fanastic' memories of rowing. Such as falling out of the boat during a capsize drill, crashing the boat, splashing people with my oar thingies, nearly falling in the lake... etc etc. Haha.

I prefer kayaking :|

kayaking rocks

im teaching on a rolling course at the moment, great fun, rolling seems to be really easy for people nowadays, but i bet they can't all do it in fastflowing water in freezing cold rivers when theyre not expecting it

Kayaking is loads of fun Ive did some in france I think it was a grade 3 river, there was a massive stopper wave at where we stopped it was well good goin over it. I was at plas-y-brenin the other week theyve got some good facilties there.

yeh i've heard lots about Plas-Y-Brenin, i was going to book a course there for this summer (my Level 2 Coach) but i've decided to do one at Rother Valley in Sheffield (where they held The Games) as it is considerably cheaper. still can't afford the course though lol

it's a tad expensive if you fully get into it, but yeh if you get the chance to give it a go, it's well worth it.

I'm a kayaking Coach now, I've been running beginner courses this summer. At the moment I can only assess 1-star, but I have a Level 2 assessment in November.

I'm going to be helping out on Rother Valley courses voulentarily in order to imprive my coaching skills and get some experience. They emailed me back today to say they're happy to let me help out. Init.

Fuck any boat related sport, I got kicked out and banned from my rowing club after about 3 weeks.

Unless speed boats and jet skis count...
