Which band do you think is your best local unsigned or signed band?

I would have to say that Telford's has to be 'Newbreed', they're pretty heavy rock but i think they're great. They have myspace if you fancy a listen. It's www.myspace.com/newbreed (http://www.myspace.com/newbreed) ...

I like this lad's band that I know called 'Zombie Fight' or something. They're supposed to be excellent.

Shane, there are some that perform in the Boardwalk. I personally have never been but there are a few lads in my year that perform there.
Look out in the Hip Hop forum, I am getting an up-and-coming talent interview with a budding MC tipped to be the next big thing...

commonname! but they haven't been playing lately.Actually I think they might of moved to Toronto to try to get a record deal.

They sure are. They tour up and down the uk now but they arn't signed. They have their own record label at the moment.

Newbreed added me on MySpace ages ago, oo-err!

I think our best local bands are most probably Your Last Memories and Toby.

I wish I knew how to find local bands in my area. I'd love to go to their gigs and chill and stuff:)

There used to be a popular band known as Phish in my area,but they disbanded about a year ago.

I think it's a shame when local bands disband before they become signed and more popular with a larger fan base. Some bands really do deserve to get far, but lack of interest/money/fans whatever sometimes stops them, and it's just sad to see the great music go to waste.
