So I thought it should start keeping you guys updated on changes, I think I'll continue to do it in this format. :)
1.Logo Change
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/1.gifI decided plain old grey and black was getting boring so i've thrown in a little more flavour to spice it up. I've also gone "oldschool" with our font as I know a few people much preferred the Graffiti style.
2. Latest Photos on Homepage
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/2.gifIn both a bid to try and get more people using the Social networking aspect of Teen Forums and also so people know when new photos have been uploaded, I've decided to display a selection of the Latest Photo Uploads on the Forum's Index Page. For those of you that don't know, your Photo Albums act exactly as the ones on FaceBook and MySpace do. :)
3. Online Users/Latest Threads Banner
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/3.gifWe've had it before and it's back, again! This little feature, at the top of the Forum's Index allows you to easy see which Threads are bing updated and also how many people are currently looking at Teen Forums!
4. We're now a little chunkier!
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/4.gifIt'd been bugging me for a while now, that Teen Forums wasn't as wide as it could have been. The skinny-ness of out website not only downscaled user posted imaged but just looked dinky in general, so I've gone and "beefed us up"!
5. Thread Ratings
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/5.gifA lot of you might have not even been aware of the ability to rate Threads on Teen Forums, alot of you just didn't think it was all that important. Well I have news for you, it's both very easy to do and will of great importance with a certain future search feature. You can now easily rate threads without an additional page load, it's piss easy, just one click!
6. Share Threads
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/6.gifhttp://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/7.gifI thought, to help spread word of Teen Forums, you might like to able to easily socially bookmark and post threads to other networking Websites, such as MySpace and so on. To make this process quick and easy I've integrated a 3rd party feature which now makes Sharing your favourite Threads with Friends on other Websites stupidly easy. :P
7. Status Update...
http://www.teenageforums.com/images/updates/8.gifEvery other Website is doing it, so why can't we? now you can update your Status via both your Posts and your profile, a little like FaceBook (that's right, this one IS plagerism!). Status updates are a little light on Features at the moment, for now it's just a little nifty feature that displays in all your Posts and on your Profile.
