If I ever figure out a clever way to integrate this with growl (aside from the full google notifier...which was rather clumsy), I will be a very very happy fuzzy.

Setup filters in gmail to make these emails go into a label? Have only that label show in the notifier?

Did it actually work?
How about a run down of exactly how you did it and the software you're using?

It did actually work, it just took some Google Ninja skills.
Step 1. Set up a label in your gmail account that forwards all mail (from both the srounce and noreply TF emailers)
Step 2: Download Google Notifier.
Step 3: Set the google notifier to only return emails from the TF label. To do this, hold Command+Option while selecting Preferences from the Notifier Drop-down menu.
Step 4: In the dialog box that appears, enter "Label" in the Key field, and the name of the Label in the Value field, press "set", and restart Google Notifier.
You're done! :D
