You know, these days I'm not sure the term indie is classing bands as it used to. I mean, yes, it's all them small labels and stuff, but it also seems to be a kind of music too... I mean, It's all them kinds of bands which I have defined as 'Rock with that touch of pop-feel' with all the unusual guitar riffs and experimental music. And some bands start off as indie, but as with a lot of bands they gain fans and a reputation and they grow.. and they end up as generally bigger with a bigger label and stuff.. but their music is still the same Xcore indie style.. I've really really confused myself now, lol, but i knew what I meant to start with :P

The Libertines are/were my like, shagbuddy band, I love them, and I like Babyshambles. Bright Eyes are fantastical [Conor ♥], as are I Am Kloot =) there are more alt/indie bands I like and i'll add them when I can be fucked.

I like Razorlight.... but a few of their songs grate on me a little sometimes. Johnny Borrell is like pretentiousfuckmenowpleasehotness.

Like I said before, their music is kind of.. indie. So they are generally classed as indie I guess, even though the real name is something like.. electro-new-wave-shit or something. But the true definition of indie is an individual label, but the killers made it big, so they're not anymore..

I'm sure they're on a big label nowadays.

Indie is a small label originally, but now indie is a sound which seems to have developed. the killers arent really proper indie, its the sound that makes them indie.

They're not indie in the traditional sense...They're new wave, actually, if you wanna get technical.



Just because a CD says on the front that it's indie dosen't mean it is. Do your research.

i did my research, i watched an interview with the killers on it, the reporter asked them if they were punk and lead singer said no we still like to be classed as indie thanks, i was in a mood yesturday so just ignore that.kk got to go.
