it's stupid.

Political correctness gone mad. However, it is not the fault of the government before you all start screaming at them) it's the fault of that particular officer/force that is to blame.

Yeah. It is getting stupid. Races and religions shoudl eb able to mox culturally but when they start to affect our traditions and way of life then it's too far.

I shall happily keep my Piggy Bank. :P

What sort of fuckin puff country doesnt dare even Fly its own flag high and proud for fear of offending a few, easily offended wankas. If you are offended by ANY countrys flag, you are a top class ****. I cant stand this, I love this country I would love to see the Flag of St George everywere I go, unfortunately, apperently the english flag offends people in england?!?!?!? The local pub had to take The St. Georges flags down, personally I think its an absolute disgrace.

Edited - very abusive language there sonny jim.

Sorry TBG

Sorry for my abusive language in the last post but I really do feel strongly about this. It gets me so mad when we are accused of being racist because we are proud of the country we live in. I would like to here the other side of the argument, as I really cant understand why this would anger someone.

im sorri but they are seriously taking the piss. Its madness not being able to have a flag up, its our country, and we have rights, but hey at the moment they seem to be being ignored, ive said it before land of hope and glory, i really dont think so. I think its greta we let people into the country with open arms but there taking over and its WRONG! The government should do sumink about it, but hey while we got Tony Blair nout will happen.

seriously this just goes to show that this country is going down the shit pan. i would never take a st. george's flag down in my own country, it's ridiculous.

if you went on holiday to france, and to your horror and disgust...you saw a...FRENCH FLAG...god you'd be so offended, would you order them to remove it because youre not french? would you fuck.

i can't imagine anyone possibly being offended by seeing the native flag in the country they are living and and probably sponging off

i think it's because the union jack is associated withe the BNP and the st. george's flag is associated with teh national front. it's still daft though. totally unacceptable

Even though I'm not native to England, many of my ancestors were from there. However, that is besides the point.

I can still say that feeling offended by a nations flag is stupid. It's like you said, if you're in England don't feel offended by a BRITISH flag. It's your flag you should have the right to fly a be proud of your nation.

PS-What is it that people find offensive about the St. George's Flag

well you see, there are some immigrants living in Britain who intend to take it over. that's fact, not racist opinion, before you start playing the discrimination card.
so they are trying to take away the rights of the British citizen, and gain themselves and their fellow migrant people more rights, more power and more money.

that's just the way things are over here these days. we can't do anything about it because anyone who complains is labelled a 'racist', and if anything is better for British people than it is for migrants, then we have to do everything in our power to make it more fair on them, and it is often the case that they end up with more rights than us.

This cant be true tbh.

My workplace is now absoloutly covered with english flags, hell theyve even got a plastic head replica of one of the players up on the wall lol.

And I work in a government department, so if it was really illeagal or wrong or whatever, it certainly wouldnt be allowed there.

no, it's not illegal everywhere. it's just that people aren't allowed to display england stuff in certain places, like clubs, there was a prison where st george was banned, loads of random places. it's right gay.
