I want go to Oxford so badly

I really really want to go to Oxford, so I have to try extra hard this year. In a good high school so chances are ok, but gotta move to england, aye! Father went to Havard( A blood line of nerds) Mom went to OSU. I want to go to havard but dad went there don't wanna repeat family tradition( grandma went there too, all nerds) wanta do something new. Thought think i need to work much harder though because my grade is one lower every semester!

Wen, academically speaking, Harvard is a vastly superior university. It is only well regarded in the US because their elitist admissions office hates to let Americans in. But ultimately its only about on par with a school like Dartmouth (aka lower end Ivy League). And really, you should take advantage of your legacy. I don't have one, so getting in to Harvard will be extra tough. Thankfully, my dad won a teacher of the year award there (for Harvard's medical residency program) when we lived in Boston, and I have a recommendation letter comming from a member of the Harvard Medical staff, so I suppose that gives me something to work with.

And timswfc, Hardvard is a university, so is not designed to be compared to Eaton. Eaton more closely compares to something like Roxbury Latin.
