Just saying the chumash is vague. If you tell me what you specifically need help with, I'd be glad to provide some insight, as I'm a former Ba'al Teshuva, so I'd most likely be quite familiar with whatever your assignment concerns.

Excuse me for butting in but im curious to know what Ba'al Teshuva is.

Its a person who fits the halachic definition of a Jew, but was essentially not brought up religiously, but eventually embraces orthodoxy and begins to observe halacha.

Halacha is Jewish law.
