What do you think the most memorable song lyric of all time is?

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

If i was asked to recite lyrics it would probably be from 'Starcrossed' by Ash.

'I'll remain in your hold, body, mind, heart and soul,
For as long as, I breathe...'

I just find them pretty.

However, there are a lot of songs with meaningful and/or pretty lyrics.

its gotta be from 'wish you were here' by pink floyd

so you think you can tell
Heaven from hell, blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail,
A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change? Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war for a lead roll in a cage?
