The first section of mine is due in tomorrow. I've hardly done any of it really, lol. It's just so difficult.

Has anyone ever experienced trouble with it in the past?

We're doing a river study at the moment. The main thing I'm stuck on is how to write the location. I wasn't in for that lesson, and now it actually comes to it, the sheet he gave me afterwards confuses me. So I'm just stuck. :/

Aye, I gathered that, lol.

We're basically, studying a river, and writing about all the different types of erosion, transportation etc. And seeing how rivers vary from source to mouth.. I think. Lol

Basically Kaye, how do you write about the location of the river? Do you describe each map saying what it shows, or do an overall description says 'this is where it is, compared to blah blah which is situated..' if you get me? :/

what i would do is do an annotated diagram (they like them in geography) of the river itself. and then do a description

clueless

You could also use an OS map which has the river marked on it and talk about the relief of land. Or maybe you could go into detail about the long profile of the river in question, when you write your hypothesis discussing the reasons behind why you think such and such will happen at such and such. Don't forget your headings and labellings.

As part of my GCSE Geography coursework, i had to investigate the affect tourism has on Stratford-upon-Avon and basically concentrate on tourism in geography terms.

i did geography aswell i have to write a report on windfarms and decide whether they shud build one in a certain area and then i had 2 do a study of a park near my school!

i would either do an annotated map of the river or describe it's full location compared to somewhere else.
