The 'X-Men' films are better to be honest. Spiderman 1 was shit, 2 was pretty good though because it had a much better villain. In SM1, Willem Dafoe dressed in a green plastic suit looked corny as hell.
I just hope this time Peter doesn't use the old excuse: "I have too much responsibility to screw MJ", at the end of the first film i was just thinking "eh? are you GAY!?!?", lol.

I don't really think much back to the Villians in the Films. I can just remember watching and thinking "woah". I loved them to bit's Spiderman 2 got me into parkour as well. :P
And he did have too much responsibility, because he was hated by people, they could have used MJ to get to him and he did not want her getting hurt.

Didn't they express their love a long time ago and then break it off? I think the movie is getting rather redundant.

At the Los Angeles press junket today, Spider-Man 3 director Sam Raimi confirmed that Sony Pictures is doing a 4th, 5th and 6th installment of the popular franchise.
We'll have his exact words shortly, but Raimi said that he hasn't had time to think of any involvement and he doesn't want to presume Sony would want him to direct.
He said there has to be a good story to tell and that "it'd be very hard to say goodbye to 'Spider Man.'"
Spider-Man 3 opens in conventional theaters and IMAX on May 4.
Hmmm, number 3 had better be good enough to justify this. Personally i think they should just leave it at 3 films, while i didn't like the first film, i enjoyed the second one and i'm looking forward to the 3rd film, but i think making 4, 5 and 6 is a bit overkill, especially if Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst don't appear in them (Maguire has already said he doesn't want to do anymore, and Dunst will follow).
