They're to over rated but ye i like a few songs i used to like them more but people rate them to high only good thing about them is joey jordison who is just an amazing drummer. He is better in the murderdolls i'd say

If you've only heard like 1 song by Slipknot, don't judge. And "inside my shell I wait and bleed" is supposed to mean that when he (the singer) hides, he gets hurt in the process (at least I think that's what it means, but I'm sure enough).

Slipknot had a couple of songs which I liked, and stated earlier on in the thread. But on the whole, I'm not a huge fan. If anything, the masks scared the hell out of me =P

That's an understandable comment to make, considering it's a lot of screaming and shouting.

It's hard to believe how people used to say bands like AC/DC etc were pretty heavy, when you look at music made by Slipknot and the likes.

Yeah I do, they're really good.
Used to be proper into em when I was a mini but that was just cos it was loud.
Then I discovered what a bloody genius Corey Taylor is.
Went off them for a while but I listen to em when I'm hyped up or int mood for a good ol' fight.
n The slower songs are just as good.
All in all I don't think they're awful at all, n Corey Taylor shud put the rest of Stone Sour on a small island and blow them up.

I was just showing how everyone writes stupid songs, and me and Pearson, and others are allowed to our opinions, why should we sit down and read the lyrics and look for a meaning when we can't stand hearing the song, as without the music surely it is just poetry.
