I saw Pan's Labyrinth a couple of days ago, its one of the best films I've seen recently. A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More and The Good the Bad and the Ugly are all excellent films.

A Scanner Darkly is also an excellent film.

My favourite is either the Pianist or The Worlds Fastest Indian.

Heh, saw Wizard of Oz at the Showroom at Christmas, probably the first time I've seen it in over 10 years, still enjoyed it, especially on a big screen.


Edit: Its hard to define whats good and whats popular, some films are very well made, but dont make much at the box office, others make millions but are just predictable mass produced shite.

I've seen a lot of good movies but I would have to say the best movie is John Tucker Must Die. That is a good movie for me and it has sentimental value.

I have several, Moulin Rouge, Van Helsing and il think of the others later, cant remember them off the top of my head. But im a sucker for love stories, particualy which end in tragedy.
