Hi, for my media coursework im trying to research whether Music lyrics influence teenages attitudes and fashion. Could you all help by giving me you sugestings on this topic,

Songs make me think, they make me think about my life and relate to me in some sorts of ways. I don't think they influence me as such becuase I don't hear someone singing about death and think I want to do that, or hear lyrics of people breaking peoples hearts and I don't want to do that.

Thank you very much for that. What do you think about younger generations 2day though? Do you think listening to dark rock music makes children think they need to dress like that, same as with people who listen to Hip Hop and wearing the gangster clothes and swearing alot??

I agree to a certain extent. but its often more like they dress like their music because they idolise their favourite bands and artists sometimes. Its a bit of both
