yeh i know what ya set it up for, i went to a school where drugs were delt in the toilets and people came to school high in the sky, offen dust and all other shite, smashin windows threatenin to kill a pupil in the school, so yes i do know people who do drugs, iv had bfs who smoke weed and friends, that bothers me but not as much as ANY other drug at all, theres no reason for any of them to be taken

Well, personally I'm against drugs. I will never take them, smoke them, whatever. One of my exes used to smoke a lot of skunk, I'm not sure if he does now or not, I haven't asked. Some of my friends smoke weed and do different drugs. I'm not going to lecture them on the rights and wrongs, because, well, it's their own choice, I'm not going to dictate their life and their choices. But for me, I know I'll never do that kind of thing.

Well I am of everywhere, but at the moment i'm on my dads 56k internet for the weekend, and deletin posts of total crap pisses me off as it is lol.

I planned to give the place a big cleanup on sunday/monday after my week o slackin off, but since shane did the forum update I cant get on here at all at home so itl havto wait till whenever i can get on here on a good computer lol.

I know a guy who's 13 and does any kind of drugs. Whatever he can get his hands on.

I asked him why, and he said it's recreational. Apparently it's 'just sad' to do drugs on your own. He said he only does them to have a good time with his friends.

tbh, I can have a good time without drugs and alcohol, but to the very extent, alcohol should suffice.

We get taught at school, about all the illegal substance crap. And effects of smoking and having sex, and all.
Its boring, we've done it since like yr 7 and will continue for about another 3 yrs.
I dont know anyone who does drugs.
I would hate to see some of my friends on it, seeing as they go on highs from just breathing air.

i know hash is a drug obviously, im not sure what kind of a drug it is ie the class of it etc. Erm i can say that no matter what drug it is they shouldn't be taking it unless its perscribed. I think you should think about talking to them about it and asking them why they do it etc. It would be a good idea to try and persuade them to stop. Gd luk. keep me posted!

Well, again I will add my comment.
I <3 cannabis. It's my drug of choice. Its impossible to describe what its like to anyone who hasn't tried it, but its like another dimension flowering inside the nut of your head, a fairy slipping jelly babies into the gaps of your thought. Sometimes, its like heaven.

However, I am certainly not pro drugs. I have seen people really go down hill due to drug abuse. And because they use them for the wrong reasons. Because they are bored, because they have nothing else to do. They do it too much too often.

Drugs are magical things that play Havok with the workings of the mind. Some people hate this, but much like you can only test a new aircraft by pushing its limits and experimenting, for me, to understand myself better, taking moderate amounts of drugs has proved enlightening. Drugs should be used for spiritual reasons, or simply for innocent pleasure. And of course, to be used sparingly.

Which is why Heroin isn't a good drug, because of the intense addiction it causes. I am anti most drugs, but I am all for Cannabis and Mushrooms.

i personally think all drugs etc are stupid, and they are one of the main problems all governemtns should crack down on (excuse the expression). I mean just takin drugs once can cause people to get addicted therefore leading them to take more, and then need more to keep them going, they begin to lose a lot of money, and sooner or later end up stealign to get drug money, ITs not worth it, It wrecks peoples life, id get them of the drugs full stop, or tell sumone to help them!

I would like to highlight the fact that I am a counter example to everything the above user has suggested.
I have taken cannabis more times than I can count over the past two years, on weekends and in moderation. I enjoy the drug, but am by no means 'hooked'. I could give up, if I wanted. Granted, there is a strong mental affinity I have for it, and giving up would be a challenge, but certainly not impossible.
It has in no way damaged my life. If anything, it has helped me become more relaxed and confident and enjoy life more. Neither has it effected my schooling, I am currently in my last year of A levels, predicted three A's in Maths, Physics and Biology, as well as getting three B's in AS Chemistry, Further Maths and Art last year. I am also going to university next year to study mathematics.
I have never stolen, nor will I steal. Cannabis has not effected my moral groundings.
Most of the drug dealers I have encountered seem like rather nice people.

I know what you are saying though, I have seen some people go down the pan. I'm just saying that not all drug users are nasty people. Personally, I think legalisation and drug control is the way forward. Its not likely to happen, but imagine a place where cannabis was legal, and the government profited from taxes imposed upon it. This would also allow the police to patrol more serious offences such as assualts and serious theft. Drugs available would also be of a grade fit for human consumption, and not cut with harmful chemicals.

However, the main area is defining good and bad drugs.

And in the end, most drug users will be pro legalisation, and a lot of non-users will be anti. If my shoes were on my other feet, perhaps I'd feel differently.

Aye Its more of the pill heads and heroine addics who cause the trouble, cannabis and mushrooms and stuff probs still f**ks ya head after a while, but normally people who have that are still ok people, hell ya see everyone smokin it round Amsterdam and that cause its legal there, they just sit in a coffee shop with a beer n a smoke n enjoy themsens, which is fine.

Its all the chavs and the rest of the druggies that cause trouble, steal and hurt people, theyre the ones who need shootin.
