Hi,

First: A kind-of apology: I don't like when people...

Hi,

First: A kind-of apology: I don't like when people ask other people to click on some link so they can win some prize. Neither do I like these "I just started a site/blog/candy shop" messages. So if you think this is what this message is, please read the fine print below.

But the bottom line is yes, I'd like some people here to click on the link just below, subscribe to the site, and visit my edition every now and then. And yes, it looks like you're going to make me a few pennies richer by doing so. In exchange, I'll tell you how things are going... And you may also happen to like the stuff I'll put there.

The link is: http://www.editaste.com/edition/mypicks

And now, let me explain. I came across this site a while ago. They promise money in exchange for basically creating traffic to their site. Believe me that I've been through a few sites that promised wealth and prosperity, and left me with nil. But this one paid me so far, even though it has been literally pennies. The big question is: Will they go on paying me (and possible you...), once it becomes real money?

I've tried to login as many fake readers myself. Didn't work. They caught me pretty quickly. So it looks like it has be real people. They're not that stupid, it appears.

Now the catch, if I may be honsest: I wouldn't like to make an idiot of myself by inviting people just like that. If this ends bad, I prefer to discover it with people who know it's an experiment. Everything about that site appears honest and reasonable, but you can never know.

Assuming I'll get some traffic & money accordingly, I'll keep you updated how things are going. Their payment is daily, so if things start to move, it won't be long before it's clear whether there is money behind their words.

Maybe some of you would like to try this out as editors themselves, possibly reporting along with me. I mean, it's not like I can stop anyone... ;)

So if you have a few moments for a little internet adventure, by all means please subscribe to my edition, and be sure to read an item or two every now and then. Logins don't count, only item reads.

Thanks in advance!
The sailor man. :biggrin5:

Ok, so I'm not used to starting threads but I thought I would just let everyone know, that I started a facebook group for TF members. It is called "The Official Teenage Forums Facebook Group" and you can look it up on your facebook search engine under that name.

I thought that by starting a facebook group it would be a great way to connect through places other than just the TF website. Many of us are already friends through facebook and other websites but we are getting new members everyday and it's getting harder to find everybody when you don't know everybodies first and last names. I added what small amounts of friends from TF that I do have on my friends list but encourage you to join!

Happy Posting,
A website called WikiLeaks just published secret documents related to the war between the U.S. and the Taliban in Afghanistan. The documents detail deals, armed conflicts, strategies, politics, intelligence operations and some casualties from 2004 and 2010, painting the most complete, publicly available picture of the Afghan War yet.

The event is in some ways comparable to the leak of the Pentagon Papers, a set of documents that provided a behind-the-scenes look at the American war in Vietnam. Those papers reached the public via major media outlets in 1971. At more than 90,000 reports, WikiLeaks’s Afghan War Diary is even more substantial. By some measures it is the biggest intelligence leak to date.
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange told UK newspaper The Guardian that the size of the leak is only one dimension of its significance:

Mp3 | 192 Kbps | 3 CD | 255 Mb
Genre: Pop | Label: RadioFandango

Hades is the brother of Zeus. After the overthow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Poseidon, another brother, for shares of the world. He had the worst draw and was made lord of the underworld, ruling over the dead. He is a greedy god who is greatly concerned with increasing his subjects. Those whose calling increase the number of dead are seen favorably. The Erinnyes are welcomed guests. He is exceedingly disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave.

He is also the god of wealth, due to the precious metals mined from the earth. He has a helmet that makes him invisable. He rarely leaves the underworld. He is unpitying and terrible, but not capricious. His wife is Persephone whom Hades abducted. He is the King of the dead but, death itself is another god, Thanatos.
